PlantID does not require a traditional account with a name, email address or password.
To provide its online services, PlantID automatically creates an anonymous or pseudonymous technical identifier.
Server-Side Data
You may request deletion of server-side information associated with your PlantID anonymous identifier.

Because PlantID uses anonymous authentication, we may need to provide instructions or request limited technical information necessary to identify the anonymous PlantID identifier or server-side records associated with your installation. We will only request information reasonably necessary for this purpose.
Please do not send plant photographs, passwords, payment information or other sensitive information unless specifically requested.
We will respond to valid privacy requests as soon as reasonably possible and normally within one month, as required by the GDPR. Where necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of requests, this period may be extended by up to two additional months. If an extension is required, you will be informed within the first month and given the reasons for the extension.
Certain information may be retained where continued retention is required or permitted for legal, security, fraud-prevention or regulatory reasons.
Data Stored on Your Device
Plant photographs, favourites, history, reminders and other information that exists exclusively in PlantID's local application storage remain under the control of you and your device operating system.
Local PlantID data can be removed using PlantID's available controls or your device's application-storage settings.
Lowenergy Labs does not have access to or control over PlantID information that exists exclusively in local storage on your device.
